Summer Party 2019
Yesterday was the day of Rock Townsend’s annual summer party!
We clocked off work at 2, and went down to the recently reopened Stockwell Hall of Fame for a Graffiti Workshop led by local legend Boyd (check out his Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/soloone.blogspot.co.uk/ ).
The weather was lovely, and the workshop was great! Have a look at some pictures:
After dinner we went on for a Tapas dinner and (maybe a few too many) drinks.
Better start planning the Summer Party 2020!
RT welcomes RT
A huge welcome to newest recruit, Raffaele Trabace! He’s been here a few weeks now, and is settling right in.
Everyone here at RT is delighted to have our very own RT in the office!
Off to the Beach!
RT was out enjoying the sunshine the other weekend, as half the office cycled 54 miles from London to Brighton on Saturday!
Let’s hope the weather stays nice enough for a repeat trip soon!
Stockwell Hall of Fame
The Stockwell Hall of Fame re-opened its door two weeks ago after Rock Townsend’s renovation of this community space and street art gallery.
We went over for the grand opening which was filled with artists and local residents loving the vibrant new design of the space.

Since then, we’ve had some new professional photos of the space taken, and we’re absolutely delighted with how it looks. One local resident said, “I objected to all of this, I just don’t like these people spraying stuff making a mess outside my flat. Its just not what people want! But this is amazing! I can’t believe it. Its just so fun and the kids look like they love it. Well done!”
Hot Wheels! With Joe Giddings
Ahead of an RT office London to Brighton cycle trip, Joe Giddings tells us a little about his favoured mode of transport.
Look at Joe skidding about
Have you got a name for your bike?
Let’s call her Ray.
Why did you start cycling to work?
It’s been my mode of transport for years! It’s nice to be outside in the morning, it’s much cheaper & it’s good exercise. Much more pleasant than the tube!
How far do you commute?
8km, or 30 minutes cycle, from where I live in Hackney to Exton Street.

What’s the best and worst thing about cycling to work?
Crossing the river every day over London Bridge is always great, and I enjoy being able to change my route to work on a whim and do a bit of exploring on the way, but on some days I can taste the pollution in the air down Bishopsgate…. It does not taste good. The weather? I love the rain!
How long have you had your bike?
Ray has been with me for about a year after I built her from ebay parts for a ride through Romania and Bulgaria last year….
Off he joes
What’s your favourite bike accessory?
My Minirig!
Where do you most like to cycle?
Well this year I’m cycling 1200km through Croatia, Montenegro, Albania & Greece to raise money for Help Refugees…. I’ve never cycled in any of those countries, but Albania looks particularly stunning! To date, personal cycling highlight has to be cycling through the Italian lakes…. Lago di Garda!
Have an eggcellent Easter
A sophisticated day in the studio this Wednesday…….
