The Wall of Frame...
Last week saw the final piece being hung to create the new RT Wall of Frame. Each person in the office has chosen one image to brighten up a previously dull wall.
The Tower of London Poppies ...
This is a MUST see, up until 11th November the Tower of London will be surrounded by 888,246 ceramic poppies. The installation is a collaboration between ceramic artist Paul Cummins and theatre stage designer Tom Pipe to commemorate the First World War Centenary. The work is titled 'Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red'.
Board Meeting...
A couple of weeks ago CBG treated Charlotte and Tim to a wakeboarding session at the docklands. Was great fun, thanks CBG!
RT on Tour : Panter Hudspith, Bear lane
The RT team took advantage of a sunny lunchtime this week, so took a stroll across to Panter Hudspith's residential project on Bear lane. There were some mixed opinions from the team, but the overall consensus was positive. Next Trip; LSE!
Summer Party 2014 ...
Last week saw the RT team being treated to an afternoon with beers and balls in the Olympic Park, then an evening spent in Crate Brewery with more beers and boats.
Lunch Club...
Lunch Club has been going strong for so long now that it's rare that we sit down to a dish that we haven't already tasted. Last week Tim presented a new one though, in the form of sweet potato, feta and sweet chilli mash. Yum!
The Serpentine Pavilion...
Last week several of the RT team went to make the most of the sun after work and took a trip to Hyde Park to see the new Serpentine Pavilion, designed by Smiljan Radić. The scheme received mixed reviews from us, but worst of all, it's closed for events every evening so we could only make our judgments from the outside!
Come Dine With Me...
Last night James hosted his Come Dine With Me with a delicious vegetarian filo pastry pie. The scores are yet to come in but a great evening was had by all.
