Last weekend saw the opening up the Bow Arts Trust where artist's studios and their work could be explored. It was also an opportunity to see Delvendahl Martin Architect's lovely new addition to the existing buildings.
This week has seen the opening of an exhibition by Karakusevic Carson Architects in a builders merchants in Hackney Wick. The exhibition looks in detail at 10 housing projects across different estates in north and east London and is a great example of what can be done with close community engagement. If you can't be bothered to read all the text on display it's worth going just to see the amazing timber models.
The team at Rock Townsend have been out and about the last few weeks following Clerkenwell Design Week where we enjoyed the Tile Mile by Russ+Henshaw, as well as The Rainforest which is a sculpture by Gun architects, for the AA, as part of London Architecture Festival.

Last weekend Dan, Charlotte and Tim immersed themselves in the world of wine and attended a wine tasting afternoon near Hyde Park. Obviously a lot was learnt about the Italian wine region.....if only we could remember.

The RT team highly recommend Martin Creed's exhibition at the Hayward Gallery. It is definitely not for you if you're the slightest bit of a prude but the exhibition has now been extended so is open until this Bank Holiday Monday.
