Eschewing their traditional outing in search of a little liquid refreshment, RT instead got cultural today and trecked all the way round the corner to Platform Gallery on Jean Street SE1 to London Underground's exhibition of detailed design manifesto drawn up by Studio Egret West.

What makes you different from other practices?
The workshop culture of our studio which focuses on collective effort, an internal ethos reflected in our relationships with outside collaborators. We use this ethos and working environment to train a new generation of architects that adopt an enterprising attitude and a connected way of thinking. Our intent is to make apt buildings and active places which embody a long-term view about contextual change. The resulting work has spirit and endures; not because it expresses our own architectural authorship, but because it carries the signature of the users, clients and communities to whom it belongs.
