Berghaus HQ joint winner at BCO Northern Awards

Bridgewater Gardens shortlisted for the RICS Awards 2016

Our Bridgewater Gardens development with B3 Living and Hill Group has been shortlisted for the Residential and Regeneration categories of the RICS Awards 2016, East of England. What makes you different from other practices?

The workshop culture of our studio which focuses on collective effort, an internal ethos reflected in our relationships with outside collaborators. We use this ethos and working environment to train a new generation of architects that adopt an enterprising attitude and a connected way of thinking. Our intent is to make apt buildings and active places which embody a long-term view about contextual change. The resulting work has spirit and endures; not because it expresses our own architectural authorship, but because it carries the signature of the users, clients and communities to whom it belongs.

Thrilled to have won Public Sector category at FX Awards

Thrilled that our Psychology Department for the University of Westminster was the winner of the Public Sector category at last night's FX Awards - despite some tough competition! 

Lovely feedback from the judges:

“This stands out for its simplicity and unity. The pared-down design and palette embrace the simple volume and exposed ceiling, creating an airy translucent space that does not compromise practicality”

Spotted ... @ the UK Housing Awards

RT directors, Phil and Steve, were spotted at the UK Housing Awards last week by Inside Housing magazine. RT's Cambridge Road, Fulbourn scheme became a finalist for Outstanding Development of the Year (up to 24 homes). The scheme represents an environmentally sustainable alternative to traditional mental health supported accommodationThe project team included contractor Hill, the client Metropolitan, and RLF the employer's agent.
