RT has just heard that we have been shortlisted in the FX Design Awards Public Sector category, for the Psychology Department at the University of Westminster. So pleased!
The University of Westminster commissioned Rock Townsend to relocate their Psychology Department into the University’s New Cavendish Street campus.Their brief was for a department that felt completely different to the rest of the University, which held its own identity and ‘brand’.
RT designed a new layout for the department, arranging perimeter offices with glazed partitions around a central area. The individual offices allow for an appropriate level of privacy between staff members and quiet space where students can work with their tutors. The central space provides a dedicated social learning area, encouraging greater interaction and collaboration between students and staff.
